Privacy Policy for pyramid defense
Summary. pyramid defense does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address, precise location, contacts, photos, microphone, or payment information. The game stores progress and settings on your device. Its production version may use GameAnalytics for gameplay analytics, Google AdMob for banner and rewarded ads, Google UMP for advertising privacy choices, and an external host to deliver the soundtrack. Those services process the technical and usage data described below.
1. Who we are and what this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how
Землянський Микола, the developer of pyramid defense ("we", "us", or
"our"), handles information when you use the Android game
pyramid defense, package game.garna.pyramiddefense (the
"Game"). For privacy questions, contact
[email protected].
This policy covers the Game itself. Third-party services have their own privacy terms, linked below. Use of the Game is also governed by the Terms of Use.
2. Information handled by the Game
Information stored locally
The Game stores the following information on your device so it can function:
- game progress and recovery saves, including level, round, board state, towers, cards, health, and related gameplay state;
- music and sound settings;
- completed tutorial and contextual-guidance steps; and
- the result of the 16+ age check and, for an under-16 result, the date when the check may be repeated. The entered date of birth is processed only on your device and is not stored or transmitted;
- your optional GameAnalytics choice, stored by the Game; and
- advertising and consent state stored by the Google SDKs.
Our game code does not upload your local save files or audio settings to our own server. Android may include some local app data in a device backup according to your Android and Google backup settings. Local data remains until it is overwritten, you clear the Game's storage, or you uninstall the Game, subject to any device backup that you control.
Gameplay analytics — GameAnalytics
GameAnalytics is optional and disabled by default. The Game does not load or initialize the GameAnalytics SDK until you select Accept in the gameplay analytics disclosure. If you accept, we use it to understand progression and improve balance, reliability, and the player experience. It may process:
- an automatically generated, persistent pseudonymous player identifier and event and session identifiers;
- session start/end, timestamps, session number and duration, Game build and SDK version;
- level start, completion and failure, level and round numbers, and remaining base health sent as a completion score;
- platform, operating system, browser/WebView version, device model and manufacturer, and connection type; and
- IP-derived approximate location. GameAnalytics states that it uses the request IP for geolocation and handles IP information according to its policies.
You may decline without losing any game feature. You can later grant or withdraw this consent through Menu → Gameplay Analytics. Withdrawal immediately blocks new analytics events and ends the analytics session. If the opt-out cannot be stored safely, collection remains off for the current session and the Game asks you to retry. Your choice, the decision time, disclosure version, and in-game decision method are stored locally so the Game can remember and document it.
The Game does not provide GameAnalytics with your name, email address, account ID, custom user ID, payment data, or purchase events. GameAnalytics processes analytics on our behalf. Learn more in the GameAnalytics Developer Policy, retention and deletion information, and product retention documentation.
Advertising and privacy choices — Google AdMob and UMP
The Android version uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) for banner ads and optional rewarded ads. Watching a rewarded ad is voluntary and grants the reward described in the Game. The Game also uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request and store advertising privacy choices where required and to provide a Privacy Options entry point when required.
Only after the local age check confirms 16+ does the Game request current UMP consent information and display a consent form when required. Before initializing Google Mobile Ads, the Game applies Google's Teen age-restricted treatment and limits the maximum ad-content rating to T. The Mobile Ads SDK is initialized and ads are loaded only when UMP reports that ads may be requested. If ads may not be requested, the SDK remains uninitialized unless a later privacy choice permits ads. Google states that its Mobile Ads SDK automatically collects and shares the following information for advertising or marketing, analytics, and fraud prevention, security, and compliance:
- IP address, which may be used to estimate a device's approximate location;
- app and ad interactions, such as app launches, taps, ad impressions, and video views;
- diagnostics, such as app launch time, hangs, SDK performance, and energy usage;
- device or account identifiers, including the Android Advertising ID and App Set ID when available; and
- consent and privacy-message choices handled through UMP.
Depending on your region and choices, ads may be personalized, non-personalized, or limited. Google and participating advertising technology providers may process this data. See Google's Mobile Ads data disclosure, Google's Privacy Policy, and how Google uses information from partner apps.
Soundtrack delivery
The Game downloads its soundtrack over HTTPS from a file hosted on DigitalOcean Spaces. As with an ordinary internet request, the hosting infrastructure receives technical request information such as the IP address, request time, requested file, and browser or device network headers. This is used to deliver and protect the media service. The Game does not use this request to create a player profile. See DigitalOcean's Privacy Policy.
Information you send to us
If you email us, we receive the address and information you choose to include. We use it to answer your request, provide support, protect the Game, and meet legal obligations. Do not send passwords, payment-card details, or unnecessary sensitive information.

4. What the Game does not request
The Game has no player accounts, login, in-app purchases, subscriptions, chat, user uploads, or social profile. Our game code does not request or collect your name, email address, phone number, precise GPS location, contacts, calendar, photos, videos, microphone audio, health information, payment details, messages, or web-browsing history. An email address is processed only if you choose to contact us.
5. When information may be disclosed
Information may be disclosed:
- to the providers described above so they can supply analytics, advertising, consent, and media-hosting services;
- when required by law, legal process, or a valid government request, or when reasonably necessary to protect users, the Game, our rights, or public safety; and
- in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or transfer of the Game, subject to appropriate confidentiality and notice where required.
6. Retention and deletion
- Local data: retained on your device until overwritten, cleared through Android's app-storage controls, or removed by uninstalling the Game. Device backups may retain a copy under your Android/Google backup settings.
- GameAnalytics: retention varies by data and product. GameAnalytics documentation describes periods ranging from about 30 days for detailed event tables to up to 18 months for certain player lookup data. Some aggregated or de-identified metrics may remain longer.
- Google advertising data: retained and deleted under Google's policies, settings, legal obligations, and advertising controls. We do not control all data held independently by Google or advertising partners.
- Support email: retained only as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request, maintain security and records, and satisfy legal obligations, then deleted or anonymized where appropriate.
You may request access, correction, objection, restriction, or deletion where applicable by emailing us. Because the Game has no account and remote records are pseudonymous, we may need information reasonably necessary to locate and verify a record, and in some cases may be unable to link a record to you. We will explain the available steps and coordinate with our processors where applicable. Providers may retain information when legally required or when it cannot reasonably be associated with your request.
7. Your controls and choices
- Use Menu → Gameplay Analytics to accept, decline, or withdraw optional GameAnalytics processing at any time.
- Use the Game's Privacy Options control when it is displayed to review or change supported advertising choices.
- Use Android Settings → Privacy → Ads to reset or delete the Advertising ID where supported.
- Clear local data through Android Settings → Apps → pyramid defense → Storage → Clear storage/data, or uninstall the Game.
- Adjust music and game-sound preferences in the Game. Disabling music prevents normal soundtrack playback, although the asset may already have been requested during loading.
- Contact us to exercise privacy rights available where you live. You may also contact your local data-protection authority.
8. Age restriction and children
The Game's declared target audience is people aged 16 or older. It is not directed to people under 16, and there is no parental-consent route for under-16 use. A neutral local age check blocks access before GameAnalytics, Google Mobile Ads, or their consent flows are started. The entered date of birth is used on the device only to decide whether the player is at least 16 and is not stored or transmitted. We do not knowingly request the name, contact details, or other directly identifying information of a person under 16. If you believe such a person has provided personal information through a support message or that their information has otherwise been handled improperly, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
9. Security and international processing
Network connections described in this policy use HTTPS/TLS. Local app data is stored within Android or WebView app storage and is subject to your device security and backup settings. We and our providers use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect data, but no storage or transmission system is completely secure.
Providers may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, transfers are handled under applicable legal safeguards described by the relevant provider.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the Game, its SDKs, or legal requirements change. We will update the date at the top and provide additional notice when required. Material changes to collection or sharing will also be reflected in the Game's Google Play Data safety section.
